Sunday the 2nd of May saw the first joint breakfast run of the Club Mini North and the MOCKZN Gauteng Chapter.  Meeting point was set as the Colonade shopping center in Montana. Arriving there was only 4 minis. But this is not all bad seeing that it was fairly unadvertised and it gave the organizers some time to talk about next events and current happenings in the community. We left for Cullinan with Dan leading us to a unknown but still very nice pub/restaurant called Miner's. The drive there was good and relaxed turning some heads on the way and even parking there saw some people looking us on.  The women quickly organized a table for our 9 souls while the rest chatted about everyday mini stuff. During the breakfast a lot of ideas and plans where set on the table. All and all it was a great success and set the foundation for the two clubs to work together in future events. Look out for the next breakfast run in about 2 months time and also a lot of motorsport and social events in the near future. |
