Congratulations:
A hearty Congratulations goes to Dave Geffen, who kept the Mini flag flying high by finishing 1st in Class A and 2nd Overall for the day in the ZOC HillDown that was held at Zwartkops on the 8th of May.

An excerpt from the ZOC web-report  gives you an idea of Dave's competition:

Date: 10-05-2010     Title: ZOC Hilldown, 08 May 2010 - Event Report     Author: Brad Woolley
Twenty Competitors took part in the ZOC 2010 HillDown, and despite the previous weeks weather being cold and wet, or both at times, Saturday came out Sunny and quite warm for the time of year, the competitors were blessed with a dry track and a great day was had by all. Wayne Hay (Impreza) showed the way continuing from his overall win last year, with Marius Knoosen in an awesome sounding Nissan GTR hot at his heels, the Minis of regulars Dave Geffen and Brian Hastie keeping the big guns honest.

The Alfa GTV of Dawie de Villiers was a crowd pleaser both in looks and sound, and is sure to be amongst the top cars very soon, and Robin Ross brought back memories by manhandling his 3L Cortina round the twisty track, and took class D honours with a time of 119.82 secs..
Class A was the usual battle of the Mins, with Dave Geffen coming out on top, 97.26 secs, Class B was taken by new member Wayne Momsen, 101.82 secs with his newly acquired Westfield Rocam, a familiar car to ZOC members, but a new owner. The most popular class E taken by Wayne Hey with a time of 92.8 seconds, taking overall best and retaining his trophy, over 2 seconds faster than his closest rival.
